I have been spending the last few days working on minor tweaks and updates to our blog and other areas of the InviteRight software. But more importantly I have been working on getting our new form design ready to be rolled out. Well luckily the day of being able to see our marvelous new forms on your very own events has come one step closer.

As you may have noticed on your events, the response categories look a little different than usual. Think of this as a sneak preview of the coming changes to the rest of the form. The code monkeys are hard at work behind the scenes to ensure the rest of the forms are bug free. So I hope you’re looking forward to the stylish new registration form design as much as we are.

My name is Chris Mackney and I’m a developer that has been with the company for just over a year and a half. Most of the work I do consists of working closely with Chris Tiangco and Dave to implement new features based on feedback from our customers. Some of our most recent and most exciting work has been with the improvements we made to the visual seating map all based on our customer feedback. If you ever notice small tweaks done to the usability of the software in terms of layout or visual changes, there is a good chance I was the one responsible.

When I’m not busy doing bug fixes and new features at work, im usually at home raiding in Warcraft or more recently strategizing with the Protoss in Starcraft 2. I also enjoy doing some coding on the side at home, such as the few hours I spent in the evening on a Foosball Tracker which we use to keep track of our many foosball games.

Looking forward to all the new features we have planned to share with our customers in the coming months.
